Accomplishments

We have been very blessed and are humbled by the success that Gilbert Stockdogs has had. The most gratifying thing about what we have achieved is the success our customers have had with dogs they purchased from us or sent to us for training. Don't kid yourself we are competitive and want to win ourselves but it is bittersweet when we are beat by one of the dogs mentioned!! NOT all of our accomplishments have came at the trials. We are just as proud of your dogs that stay at home and are used on the ranch. These dogs are the ones that most don't hear about. Kind of like the offensive line that blocked for Emmitt Smith in Dallas all of those years...Most can't name one of them but you knew who Emmitt was!!!

He won the trial at a staggering 15 months old!! Hoss has settled in for Kirby and is starting to win money in the open trials now. Lots of potential here!!

Gilbert's Buck (Zack x Belle) owned by Buck Cattle Company

Buck is used daily at Jirl Buck's in Madill, Oklahoma. Buck is used on a 300+ head cow/calf operation to gather and help sort. These guys are not your average cow/calf outfit. From show cattle to bucking bulls they have it all and the dogs are expected to handle each accordingly.

Sis is another in line of the Zack x Belle mating. Sis is used daily along side Gilbert's Buck in Madill on the ranch. She is a really nice female that Jirl uses daily and raises a few pups out of.

Zeb is used on a ranch in Iowa. He was raised by us and trained by my good friend Micheal Johnson. Zeb falls right in line with the other Zack x Belle matings. Honest, Dependable, and Biddable

Reba is a really nice Zack x Belle female that is used for a trial dog but also used around the ranch during the week. She is on of the best females from that mating. A usual on the trial scene and a consistent money earner. She can go from a trial setting to the pasture and gather big groups if needed.

Rock was raised by Jirl Buck after we sold him Belle. He is used on a 300+ head ranch daily. Gathering pairs, moving replacement females, and gathering bulls is just another day for Rock.
